Bihar’s educator Khan Sir gets married, cites India-Pakistan tensions for keeping it private

Khan Sir marriage: Popular educator and YouTuber Khan Sir recently revealed that he tied the knot, sharing the news directly with his students via a video message. Known for his grounded approach and dedication to teaching, Khan Sir explained that the wedding was kept under wraps due to ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan.

Digital invitations have been sent out for the reception, which is scheduled in Patna on June 2. A separate event exclusively for his students will be hosted on June 6. Both gatherings are expected to be modest, The Economic Times reported.

“I have told you all first because my existence is thanks to all of you,” he said in his message, adding, “After the reception on June 2, I will be hosting a special wedding feast for all my students on June 6.”

Although Khan Sir has not revealed any personal details, reports suggest that his wife goes by the name AS Khan. As with many aspects of his private life, including his full name, speculated but unconfirmed to be Faisal Khan, he has chosen to keep this part of his life out of the spotlight, the report said.

The announcement met with support from his student community, who praised his decision to keep the ceremony low-profile. The report also stated that preparations are currently underway in Patna for both events.

Khan Sir, who runs the Khan GS Research Centre and a highly popular YouTube channel, is widely admired for his ability to break down complex topics in an engaging way. His distinctive teaching style and dedication to students have earned him a massive following.

According to media reports, Khan Sir completed his early education at Parmar Mission School. He then went on to pursue higher studies at the University of Allahabad, where he earned degrees in BSc, MSc, and MA in Geography.

In 2021, a video he shared discussing France-Pakistan relations sparked backlash on X, with a section of social media users accusing him of Islamophobia. In 2022, he was named in an FIR in connection with violent protests related to the Railway Recruitment Board’s NTPC examination.
