“We met seven years ago in NYC—two Quants brought together by fate and family, with Viraj working on Wall Street and me arriving for my master’s. When I moved to London for work two years ago, the distance was tough, but Viraj’s constant support showed me he was the one. Ironically, the separation only deepened our bond. He proposed during our reunion in the Bahamas, armed with multiple rings (unsure of my size!)—and even popped the question with the ring upside down. We laughed through it all, and of course, I said yes!”, the bride tells us.

We got married on October 18, 2024, in an intimate-yet-royal celebration that blended our NYC lifestyle with Indian traditions. With just 120 loved ones, we chose a stunning heritage venue in Udaipur, known for its magical sunset views. Planning from NYC came with challenges—time zones, not seeing the venue until a day before, and managing family expectations for a grand affair. But with help from WMG reviews, friend referrals, and virtual meetings, we made it work. Every detail was personal—from my beige lehenga inspired by NYC’s elegance to a custom veil featuring the Brooklyn Bridge, our wedding date, and our dog Shiro.

The indoor spaces were equally captivating. The food exceeded all expectations, with local delicacies like Lal Maas and Gatte Ki Kadhi still being praised by guests. The staff’s attention to detail, including a live flute performance during breakfast, made the experience unforgettable. Chunda Palace was more than just a venue—it became an unforgettable part of our love story.

Juhi and her team were amazing to work with—professional, detail-oriented, and fully aligned with my vision. Despite my tight schedule, they were punctual and proactive in planning each look. I wanted a subtle, natural makeup style, and Juhi delivered perfectly. She planned distinct yet cohesive looks for each event, keeping everything elegant and complementary. The compliments were endless, especially for the last-minute hairstyle suggestion at my sangeet. Her warm team made the experience stress-free and fun.
